Managed 20+ Union employees, and directly supervised thousands of Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Work Orders during steady state operation, and outages of 4 - 650MW Coal Fired Boilers and Turbines, and Auxiliary support systems. Coordinated the planning, scheduling & parts ordering; documented all work in EMPAC, TRAIN, and the ORACLE based WAM Work Order systems; recommended and implemented new ideas & cutting edge technology; closely worked with service reps, contractors, & various other departments (ie: Machinists, Electricians, High Voltage Controls, Operations, Heavy Equipment, etc.); Renovated the newly installed FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) project to make it extremely reliable; disciplined and rewarded employees based on performance; engineered weight restrictions, pump curves, vibration analysis, rigging, & platforms; and completed work on time and under budget with virtually zero rework. Continually looked for ways to work smarter, not harder. Loathed the saying "That's the way we've always done it."

Startup/Shutdown, operate, perform preventative & corrective & outage maintenance, LOTO, safety, RADCON, and monitor 2, 550 MW Nuclear Reactors aboard the USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier. Completed 2 simultaneous Nuclear Fuel Core replacements and complete maintenance overhaul in September 2000.
