Hi, My name is Benjamin George!I am Working full time at Lapeer Community Mental Health in the role of Information Security Coordinator, and also working part time in the Michigan Army National Guard. I was promoted to an Information Security Coordinator January 2023, and I graduated December 2023 from Baker College of Owosso. My goal is to break into cyber security, get my CISSP, and break into red teaming!I absolutely love working with computers! At Lapeer Community Mental Health, I supported the staff with all kinds of IT support, ranging from basic troubleshooting, to implementing new Linux systems and more. I developed important skills like Time Management, Project Management, Troubleshooting, and Training other Employees. Now that I am an Information Security Coordinator, I am doing Auditing, more policy management, suggesting security solutions, and more.In the Michigan Army National Guard, I fix radio systems, computer systems, and train other soldiers on anything I have learned. From this, I have traveled to Latvia, and also gotten a Secret Clearance from my MOS, 25U. Here, I developed and grew as a person and a soldier, learning Time management, Staying Calm under Pressure, to be disciplined and to be respectful of others.
