Responsible for working closely with Print and POS procuring with experienced suppliers and managing the company’s procurement activates. Besides providing leadership for the purchasing department and motivating staff to achieve maximum performance and efficiency. Making sure that the procurement department works within all of the companies Operational Procedures well.

• Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishing and Supplier Performance.• Experience Procurement Management professional with 4 years of continued career progression accompanied by key accomplishments in the competitive markets. • Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.• Sourcing the most affordable materials for the companies (Unilever) requirements in Print and POS categories. • Reviewing tender and bids on a regular and constant timeframes to ensure deliverables are realistic as most of the projects are time bound. • Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are timely delivered.• Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials and components are of high standards. • Delivering cost savings for the company. • Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company. • Helping to source alternative items for customers and developing sourcing strategies. • In addition to the above position, in charge of Customer Marketing, AGU, Karama office liaising with different Brand team and engaging in day to operations as stated above.• Thoroughly trained in Procurement software Noosh for all day-to-day activities, from spec uploads to closure of projects before invoicing. • Creates production timetables in coordination with Traffic and outside vendors who are handling fulfillment for all assigned work.

• Assigns project numbers, issues project instruction sheets and opens job workflow file.• Conducts weekly production meetings with traffic manager, creative and production personnel.• Prepares production estimates based on briefings from account executives and account coordinators, and meeting with productions artists.• Ideally obtains three competitive quotes on every outside buy from a range of quality vendors.• Records purchase orders and Invoices on job jackets /job workflow file.• Supervises work done by suppliers (freelance artists, typesetters, printers, output bureaus, etc.)• Proofreads all artwork/digital proofs .Verifies that all material is properly signed off/approved by account executive and client.• Coordinates with media manager to be sure publication material deadlines are met.• Follows up with suppliers to be sure they will meet promised delivery dates.• Prepares job billing worksheet for account executive approval.• Overseers quality control in conjunction with creative department and art room supervisor.• Maintains cordial contact with all suppliers• Maintains reference files for suppliers of various products and services, categorized by quality, price and turnaround.• Taking care of all Media related jobs
