Benjamin Gesing is deputy general manager of the national initiative "MINT Zukunft schaffen!“ ("Create a MINT future!"). He coordinates the 2,500 certified schools with a MINT or digital focus and is responsible for the networks of the partners and volunteers.From 2004 to 2007, Benjamin Gesing was project manager and managing director of the Youth Participation Service Agency, a model project of the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs to promote the participation of young people in Germany. From 2004 to 2007 he headed the participation area in the accompanying program of the all-day school program IZBB. Benjamin Gesing has been advising various ministries on child and youth policy issues since 2005, supporting the work of the European Commission in the field of youth mobility and youth participation (Lisbon process). In his work, he has developed talent promotion programs together with the Deutsche Bank Foundation, the German Children and Youth Foundation and partners from the business world. The coordination of the German child and youth report for the Federal Government's National Action Plan for a Child-Friendly Germany (NAP) 2005-2010 as part of the UN campaign "A World fit for Children" highlighted his commitment on an international level as well.
