My name is Benjamin Gilbert, and I am a sophomore studying Computer Engineering with a Concentration in Machine Learning at Boston University. I am well versed and passionate in software development, and also have a strong background in hardware design. I will be beginning my concentration in machine learning next semester. I hope to utilize these skills to create inventive, efficient solutions for my future employer’s business problems.My experience in the software world is vast, as I have used my skills in C++, Python, and algorithm design to find insights on large datasets and create optimized solutions to slow software systems. I also have a strong background in leadership, serving as the Director of Technology Consulting at the Boston University TAMID chapter and the Vice President of Boston University’s Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter. I anticipate utilizing these skills as a Technology Analyst at Morgan Stanley this upcoming summer, and throughout my career as an engineer.
