I am currently a fourth year Data Science student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with an expected graduation date of May 2025. I currently maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.16.Whilst interning for PowerPlay Retail as a Data Science Intern throughout the summer of 2023, I worked alongside other employees, particularly the RepGroup to accomplish the following:-Analyzing Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) reports weekly to provide insights into future sales and stocking patterns.-Constructed reports analyzing different characteristics of products from competitors in stores such as Target and Walmart in order to gain an insight into areas of improvement.Additionally, I have also completed multiple coding projects at the University of Minnesota.-Developed and tested multiple different machine learning classification models on NBA player data in hopes of achieving accurate predictions surrounding nominees and winners of different league awards, such as Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of The Year, Most Improved Player, and Sixth Man of The Year. The models used were: Naive Bayes, kNN, Decision Trees and RIPPER, along with different bagging approaches.-Mined different NFL wide receiver player data in order to clean, normalize, and compose composite scores surrounding first year production of players with hopes of predicting second year breakouts of certain players.Outside of my work experience and personal projects, I have taken the initiative to Co-Found a mental health organization by the name of Green Ribbon Society, focusing on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in the student body and society, where I serve as the Vice President. (1 year) We are currently working on partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in order to become a certified NAMI On Campus club.As an individual, I continue to become incredibly passionate about coding and sports analytics, and will always possess a strong interest towards being a mental health advocate for myself and individuals alike. I will always strive to learn and refine the technical and professional skills that I possess, and will never stray away from a challenge!
