I have had the privilege of coaching hundreds of students pursuing their dream of publishing in the Concord Review or gaining recognition from the John Locke Essay competition. Most recently, students working with me for John Locke were 30% more likely to receive a commendation or higher. Over the years, I've designed custom curricula and have led more than a dozen writing and research boot camps, both online and in-person. In the winter of 2015, the Concord review, the only publication in the world to accept high school history research, published my essay on Early Islamic Iberia. In the fall of 2017, I then joined the Review as an Academic Coach, helping high school student-clients with their essay drafts. I review essay drafts and conduct skype sessions where I guide the clients through the research, writing and essay process and answer any relevant questions on academic history writing.

I help international high school students to create and maintain effective extracurricular schedules by providing specialized guidance on relative values of extracurricular activities.I also help my clients brainstorm, plan and execute leadership capstone projects to build their resume and prepare for U.S. college admissions.

Developed and implemented creative history and reading curriculum for students grades 3-8, advised on collegeadmissions

I performed archival research into Caroline County (MD) history and organized sources into specific narratives for Caroline County High School students to use in an ongoing joint extracurricular project sponsored by the Maryland Historical Society and Caroline County Public School System. I gained experience using archival newspaper databases, a acquiring material from outside archives/historic institutions, and networking within communities to find historical sources.

I researched the history of Latinos in Howard County Maryland, conduced community outreach and archival research in local organizations, and wrote a research summary currently housed in Howard County Historical Society's collection

Within the Language Ministry, I provided live English to Spanish simultaneous interpretation of 1-1.5 hour church services for Spanish speaking attendees and for Spanish speakers listening on Bridgeway's online broadcast. I also assisted teaching Bridgeway's spanish language classes, ESOl courses, and citizenship assistance programs.
