Director and share holder in niche commercial surveying practice operating throughout Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Services provided included agency (disposals and acquisitions of both freehold and leasehold properties), valuations, lease renewals and rent reviews of office, warehouse and retail accommodation, property management plus development advice. The client base was wide including private individuals, property companies, PLCs and funds who all had differing objectives which required bespoke solutions. From a relatively small start the client base was increased significantly through successful delivery and ‘word of mouth’ recommendations. Significant instructions included the search for and acquisition of a new 35,000 sq.ft North West HQ for Hutchison 3G at Manchester Business Park and appointment as Sole Agents on World Freight Terminal at Manchester Airport (550,000 sq.ft. of warehouse and office space) for Manchester Airport PLC where we provided advice on overall strategy to reduce substantial voids in out-dated stock, achieving significant success in difficult market conditions.
