My passion for cars, airplanes, and machines in general was sparked when I was very young. Hobbies such as building custom Lego Technic vehicles, and flying aircraft on flight simulators, have only fueled this passion, both leading to me studying mechanical engineering in university, as well as providing me with a deep understanding of many concepts and systems that can be applied to my studies and projects.By day, I am a third-year mechanical engineering student at McGill University. Having completed several design projects, I have gained significant experience with skills such as CAD, FEA, and CNC manufacturing, and their application to real-world design scenarios.By night, I am a first responder with the McGill Student Emergency Response Team, providing overnight on-call first aid services to the downtown residence buildings of McGill University. I joined the team in my first year of university, and still enjoy it as much as I did on my first shift.

  Open-Loop Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel Lab, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering• Helped set up a circular cylinder model for wind tunnel testing• Fine-tuned the model orientation to ensure the validity of the collected surface pressure data• Analyzed the wind-induced surface pressure distribution of the cylinder model using Matlab code• Performed visualization to assist in evaluating the surrounding flow characteristics and suggest adjustments to the model setup• Configured a spare National Instruments data acquisition system to supplement the aging existing system• Automated an existing procedure for determining tubing response correction functions, decreasing the required manual labour time from 3 hours to 5 minutes• Designed and prototyped a control system for the wind tunnel turntable motor, with successful initial operating trials
