Ben is an enthusiastic learner, positive personality, and dedicated worker. His keen desire to learn paired with a persistent curiosity enables him to quickly develop various hard skills and begin applying them to many different facets of the job. Upon starting at PwC, Ben’s ability to attentively listen, ask insightful questions, learn, and iteratively apply allowed him to develop in his role and become a reliable member of his teams merely months into the job. Constantly challenged to play up in his role with increased responsibility, Ben has proven to be able to project manage, communicate clearly and concisely, and coach fellow colleagues (his favorite). In his current role as a Digital Assurance and Transparency Associate at PwC, Ben serves several Fortune 500 clients, executing audits through testing IT General Controls and technical IT Dependencies. The majority of Ben’s work is SAP focused where he combines his SAP background with client knowledge to devise testing approaches, understand report output and control evidence, and explain his analysis verbally and in writing. On a daily basis, Ben is communicating with clients, managing a workload consisting of several clients, and collaborating with his fellow team members.Prior to joining PwC, Ben attended Saint Joseph’s University, double majoring in Accounting and Business Intelligence and Analytics along with several finance focused classes. As an accredited business institution, Ben learned practical knowledge from business professionals who had previously applied that knowledge within the industry. In addition to attaining major proficiencies, Saint Joe’s liberal arts philosophy educated Ben holistically and allowed him to hone skills outside his major such as public speaking, business and creative writing, and cross-functional application of skills. Also participating in activities outside of the classroom, Ben made an impact coaching students as a Tableau and Excel tutor, serving in the local Philadelphia area through Back on My Feet, and leading a group of first year students during a three-day service immersion program.
