At Ruderal, I lead project-driven computational design research and manage landscape architecture training. Recent projects include landform design for the Bodbe Hotel in Sighnaghi, the landscape master plan for the Shuamta Gateway, afforestation plans for the Narikala Ridge and Mtatsminda Urban Forests, and several residential gardens in Tbilisi. Our project for the 2020 Tbilisi Architectural Biennial, Arsenal Oasis, serves as a testing ground for experimental design of novel urban ecologies in Tbilisi and beyond.Ruderal is a landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Ruderal designs and develops sustainable site projects where ecology, culture, and history harmonize with surrounding contexts. The firm partners with municipalities, institutions, community groups, and private developers in Georgia to guide the design and planning process, from concept to construction supervision.

As Community Collaboration Fellow I coordinated outreach with local groups advocating for public space and provided training in landscape architecture. This role also allowed me to conduct research for my MLA thesis, which used the neighborhood of Saburtalo as a formal case study.

This job began as a research position for the firm's Route 66 Pathway Project and gradually moved into architectural drafting, diagramming, and model building.

I worked on a CD set for the landscape of a university housing tower in West LA, which included a public plaza and courtyard.

This was my first role at a literary quarterly. I reviewed creative non-fiction, poetry, and prose submissions and contributed to group decision-making process. I also sat on one of the first episodes of the "Slush Pile" podcast where especially interesting and brave authors allowed us to discuss their work in a public forum.

Global Academic Fellows in Writing were tasked with managing the writing progress of 30 undergraduates at a time. I met with each of these students on a weekly basis and delivered plenary sessions and writing workshops in the first year writing program. I also acted as a consultant to arts, design, and engineering faculty in planning and executing writing assignments in core courses and the superLab Design & Innovation program. During my time at NYUAD, I also: Advised three senior thesis students in writing through weekly meetings in their second semester.Oversaw and advised three independent writing projects through the remote Summer Scholars Program.Pursued research in writing pedagogy, landscape studies, environmental justice, and urban design.
