With a steadfast dedication to ophthalmology, my career spans over three decades of advancing eye care through both clinical practice and medical innovation. As a surgeon, I have performed over 40,000 laser treatments and 20,000 cataract operations, honing a specialty in the anterior segment, medical retina, and laser procedures. My journey in medicine is one driven by the conviction that quality eye care should be universally accessible, which led to my role as a co-founder of SlitLED. At SlitLED, we are pioneering remotely operated ophthalmic examination systems, pushing the boundaries of telemedicine to illuminate new possibilities for patient care worldwide. Beyond the operating room, I contribute to global health initiatives, offer my expertise to burgeoning med-tech startups, and share knowledge as a public speaker at industry conferences.
