I am a partner in Covington & Burling LLP’s White Collar Defense and Investigations and Anti-Corruption practice. I have over a decade of experience assisting clients in complex internal and government investigations and compliance matters. I have guided a number of clients to successful resolutions in SEC and DOJ investigations, and developed an in-depth understanding of the current global enforcement environment and how companies can best protect themselves from and manage governmental scrutiny. I have also honed a deep expertise with complex forensic accounting and internal controls issues.Complementing my investigations practice, I regularly advise clients on a range of anti-corruption compliance issues, including by conducting risk and program assessments, pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration, and assisting companies in building and strengthening their anti-corruption compliance programs and controls. I frequently advise companies on policies and controls relating to third-party risk, and I am currently supervising a large-scale project focused on the use of data analytics to facilitate compliance monitoring in one of the world’s largest consumer products companies.
