Benjamin has successfully managed various investment firms and entities, with roles including President, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Client Advisor, Senior Research Analyst and Senior Portfolio Manager, Board Member and Fund Director.His experience includes smaller, more entrepreneurial firms (multi-family offices Clairmont, BigSur Partners and PRS Group) as well as larger, more traditional institutional firms (John Hancock Funds, SunTrust Banks, and EFG Capital Advisors). With a background originally in investment research and portfolio management, he has gained additional and extensive experience in the operational, legal, regulatory, compliance, audit and human capital aspects of the business, including developing and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional investment holding structures.In addition to his broad management experience, he is a wealth advisor providing investment management and financial planning services to a select group of US and non-US high net worth individuals and families of diverse backgrounds. These clients include retirees, executives and business owners, and those with wealth from inheritance or liquidity events. He collaborates closely with his clients’ other advisors including attorneys, accountants, and insurance experts, coordinating planning in areas such as taxes, estates, and wealth transfer.
