Rotated between office and clinical duties, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.❖ Clinical duties:➢ Newborn monthly exams (length, weight, head circumference, vital signs,development, TB checks, photo vision screens, and postpartum depressionscreens)➢ Yearly check-ups for patients ages three to eighteen (stature, weight, BP,development, photo vision, hearing, TB and lead screenings, adolescent pamphlet,vaccine record documentation, sports physicals, and PHQ-9)➢ Sick patient appointments (obtaining necessary vitals, swabs, and waste samples)➢ Assisted providers, nurses, and aides with patient care, communicatingeffectively and taking orders directly ❖ Office duties:➢ Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow ➢ Insurance validation and billing protocol➢ Patient data management and confidentiality (HIPAA) ➢ Triage and patient prioritization➢ EMR software management (Office Practicum Software)➢ Familiarity with Medicaid website➢ Scan insurance cards and update patient information➢ Batch validate insurance and process payments➢ Print encounters, schedules, and school/work excuses➢ Assist with collections process and appointment reminder calls
