Health Care Administration and Service Management program

Work as part of a multidisciplinary health team. Provide counselling for individuals, families, and group using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Psychoanalysis, motivational interviewing. Provide case management, make appropriate referrals, and advocate for patient mental wellness

Remain accountable for client services and individual client progression. Manage 5 reports and oversee workloads, timesheets, schedules, growth and development. Oversee the intake process for new clients, review referrals organize orientations, oversee report writing. Oversee the Outreach program that connects isolated individuals living with aphasia with staff and volunteer support. Answer public queries about programs, services, and products. Oversee client tracking systems, charts, data analysis. Engage individual clients in social work care. Organize, chair and ensure follow up from Clinical Strategy Team meetings. Deliver three different psychosocial groups for persons with aphasia and their family members. Engage in research about aphasia and product development to aid in the recovery process.
