I started out on project to update the Commonwealth of Kentucky's budgeting system. I preformed both technical and functional roles on the implementation including leading the performance testing efforts and designing and applying all the extensions to the software. I am now part of the team that supports and maintains the Commonwealth's budgeting, financial, and reporting systems. I am the primary support for the budgeting software and played a major role in the upgrade project for the Business Objects reporting software. I have a lot of experience designing reports in the BOXI R3 WEBI software and am currently working towards certification. I am also the Procurement and Vendor SME and played a major role in the 2 year long upgrade project for the Commonwealth's statewide Financial Accounting and Procurement system. Throughout the upgrade process I also managed all issues with our customer support group as well as the duties of being the Procurement, Vendor, and Budget SMEs. These responsibilities included learning and training new functionality, aiding in test script development and performing testing, as well as being the first line of support for any issues. Recently, I managed the Commonwealth's budget system upgrade and performed both the functional and technical upgrade tasks including developing the work plan and cutover plan. I installed all applications and applied extensions. I provided functional support and training of new functionality. I am also leading the current beta testing effort on the newest release of the budget software, which includes installation and training as well as functional support.
