My goal after the military was to travel and expand my world view. I traveled to The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, and New Zealand. I challenged myself to travel as lightly as possible, camping, working on homesteads, and hitchhiking to better understand the various countries I visited. Helped operate a cargo train during one of my hitchhiking legs.
