I obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of North Texas, with years of experience using digital signal processing, circuit analysis, robotics, coding, and the use of PCBs, Arduino, and Launchpad / Putty interface. I’ve proved that I am a hard worker by being a leader and leading contributor on multiple group projects. A major project that I have worked through would be the design and implementation of a working processor from the ground up. This was a group project in which we each worked on the individual parts of the project separately then worked to compile them together. From there it was simply down to understanding and coding the registers and creating the functions needed in the ALU. After a lot of research we had completed each part of the processor, then we simply had to connect our working parts. When all was over, we had successfully created a working processor. Another major project that I have completed was my Morse code machine, which I accomplished by using my knowledge of digital signal processing. The idea was to create a system in which a user with no knowledge of Morse code whatsoever could input a message into a prompt, which would be visually translated into Morse code, followed by the appropriate signal, then the audio signal would be received by a microphone and translated back into English on a separate visual display. This task showed my competence with my understanding on DSP along with the Launchpad and the Putty interface that was used. My knowledge of circuit analysis was put to the test when multiple issues came up with a breadboard that was used, but after analyzing it, the problem was able to be resolved. My overall career goals are to find a workplace that allows me to grow professionally, that would provide financial stability to my family and I, and to challenge myself to achieve and learn new things. Specifically I would be most interested in a job that focuses on any aspect of electrical engineering, as I find the whole field interesting.
