I am a driven, hardworking individual who has grown to become passionate about cyber security. Whether it be protecting assets, conducting investigations, analyzing malware, or even testing weaknesses, I enjoy it!I started my foray into cyber security as an intern at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, and have since grown to love it more and more on a daily basis, the more I am exposed to it. I consistently work with network monitoring tools, reports generated in Splunk, and cyber security principles and best practices to monitor and protect the company's network and its users. Each and every day brings a new challenge, and it's a challenge I'm always excited to tackle!Before I joined the Cyber Security Group at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, I was working as an intern on software development projects. As such, I am always bringing a general knowledge of software development to the security team, and have an understanding of code and coding languages that I can bring to any problem that may arise. However, the most consistent benefit that comes from my experiences as a software developer is logic based problem solving, which I apply to any and all challenges that pop up during my time with the Cyber Security Group.
