Profile bio

About Benjamin Logsdon

I am a retired Army Sergeant Major of 23 years. I have had a diverse background within the logistics management field. I am a self driven, goal oriented individual who believes in continuous improvement and developmental growth. I have recently continued to challenge myself by completing my Masters in Revere Logistics Management, enrolling in PMP, learning a new language (Spanish), while transitioning out of the military.Throughout my career I have sought out to identify ways to optimize opportunities to make improvements within each organization that I have worked for and strive to leave it better than I found it. I am looking forward to bringing this mentality, work ethic, and desire to another organization to continue challenging myself and others to evolving procedures and being innovative in our approaches to provide elite logistical, operational, and customer service. High op-tempo, short notice requirements and deadline driven environments have helped further my flexibility along with my thought process. Adapting and identifying patterns to determine operational requirements to be occasional or reoccurring based off metrics and desired outcome. Leaderships, Relationships, and Friendships” these are used in all aspects of business and life without them we stand alone and divided, together we can accomplish more. I started leading men and women at the age 20 and have done so for 20 years learning every step of the way. Training, challenging, and encourage team building to develop talent, producing future resilient dynamic leaders within our uniformed services. Operating in such a diverse organization has developed my communication skills (oral and written) at all levels of an organization Lastly, I look forward to finding a new home within an organization that shares similar values and goals that will use a flexible, versatile, resilient to become better and evolve a better culture and team. It will be my goal to challenge the organization to be innovative, forward-thinking, and allow growth together.
