Hello! My name is Benjamin Murphy and I currently work as the HMIS Data Analyst & User Support Lead for Strategies to End Homelessness, a non-profit aimed at eradicating homelessness based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I specialize in data analytics, along with data visualization and presentation. In this role, I am able to work with over 30 different non-profit organizations in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and help provide difficult to obtain data, create dashboards to be used by case managers, maintain excellent data quality to obtain HUD + state/local funding, and use data to help identify issues and solutions. While at Strategies, I have also had the privilege of being a part of the Racial Equity team, a team which is dedicated to ensuring that Strategies to End Homelessness is truly an equal opportunity organization and strives to create a work culture where anyone and everyone can do their best to help eliminate homelessness. I also graduated from Xavier University with a my Master of Science degree in industrial-organizational psychology. During my time at Xavier I also completed a master’s thesis taking a deeper look at job satisfaction between American expatriates and domestic workers.
