Independently researching, developing and delivering a charity-wide marketing strategy to engage with 16 member schools and the 73 stakeholder businesses. Researching and designing a quarterly newsletter distributed across the city. Writing pro formas and briefs for student volunteering projects. Writing and delivering papers at team meetings on strategy

Working on ensuring the leading people experience strategy is in sync with the society's tone of the voice when updating their 'People Policies'. Conducting desk-based research on other financial services HR policies and strategies. Researching YBS's and other financial services' approach to charity and community initiatives in the Branch network. Editing and writing intranet and press releases for the Internal Communications department.

Working as a student intern for York Cares, a business volunteer charity, my role involved: Recruiting, training, inducting and managing a tri-annual cohort of business volunteers to volunteer in local primary schools. Liaising with HR and Communications departments in national businesses to organise and recruit volunteers. Creating promotional and advertising material for events, recruitment and training distributed online and via social media. Utilising Excel and Gmail to manage and administrate the 280 volunteers - including working with the York Cares databases, website and twitter account.
