As someone who has been at the forefront of this cloud revolution, I have extensive experience in End-User Compute (EUC) and Cloud administration technologies. I am proficient with the interdependencies of the various cloud productivity suites and support tasks. My specialities include Application Packaging and Deployment, Security Patching and Office updates and Microsoft Teams. I consider myself a subject matter expert (SME) within the EUC field, having experience of implementing efficiencies and finding solutions to overcome support challenges in a challenging corporate environment. I am skilled in all aspects of EUC hardware (laptops, desktops, hybrid 2-in-1 devices, printers, and audio/video collaboration devices. This includes experience of the RFP process for EUC hardware (I was lead technical manager for a £5 million tender/bid for EUC Hardware refresh globally)I have been integral to projects delivering upgrades from Skype for Business (SfB) to Teams including the governance, workflows, SBC configuration and user guides/how-to’s.I am proficient with EUC desired state using Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO’s) having performed a major audit and service improvement initiative at Lloyds Register, increasing security, quicker logon times and more efficient BAU administration with a new naming convention and best practice guide produced.I have worked within the Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance and Legal sectors bringing a pragmatic and diligent approach to my day-to-day activities. I have always met or exceeded business goals set, including reductions of operational spend annually (e.g. £35k 2019-20 for A/V global support costs) and BAU efficiencies (for Applications lifecycle 15% reduction in Change Mgmt. KPI’s in 3 months after migration to Intune platform).I have developed leadership skills and management experience bringing out the best in team members, including goal setting, service improvements and performance reviews. Within my management roles I have been responsible for budgets, vendor management and service management. This enables me to fulfil technical management roles and deliver value to whomever I work for.
