Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD) is a child and women’s rights national non-governmental organization with a mandate towards supporting humanitarian and development activities in Nigeria. CASFOD has a vision aimed at creating a world where all people even in remote areas of the world hold the power to create opportunities for themselves and others. CASFOD is guided by 5 pillars supporting its 2023 – 2025 program strategy. The pillars include Health and Nutrition, Education, Protection, WASH and Livelihood all aimed at supporting women and children.

The Education Champion Network was launched in 2017 with less than 10 members across 5 countries - Afghanistan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey. Today the network has grown to over 80 members across 10 countries. As the network continues to grow, Malala Fund wants to ensure that Education Champions have ownership over this network and how it evolves, and as a result created the Global Steering Committee.In partnership with the ECN team at Malala Fund, the objectives of the steering committee are to:1. Clarify the strategic direction and priorities of the ECN at global and national level.2. Develop / Review the criteria for ECN members focussing inclusion , gender , women empowerment.3. Develop the communication and coordination mechanism between ECN member and complaint and redressal strategy for ECN members.4. Inform a calendar of network activities that support the global and national network objectives and help members connect, learn, and act together. 5. Proactively identify strategic opportunities for the network to collaborate and/or show solidarity at regional and global levels. 6. Serve as liaisons between Chapters and the ECN team at Malala Fund. 7. Brainstorm strategies to enhance member engagement across the network.

- Resource mobilization through proposal writing, donor networking and partnerships. - Program development and grant management - Oversee program implementation and evaluating outcomes.- Design, monitor, and evaluation of organizational long-term, mid-term and immediate strategy- Advisory member of the Global Education Cluster's Strategic Advisory Group (SAG)𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:- Developed and launched a 3-year strategic plan for Restoration of Hope Initiative which received immediate funding of one million dollars.- Championed the Nigerian Education Sector localization strategy through successful partnership with UNICEF for 3 years, managing over two million dollars Education and Child Protection Programs.- Over the last year managed 9 projects covering 15 project sites (Local Government Areas) with a budget of over two million five hundred thousand dollars achieving set program and organizational objectives
