- Execute and monitor critical segments of the business from front-end process (deal sourcing) to deal qualification- Utilize Pitchbook, Cyndx, and D&B Hoovers to conduct in-depth analysis and due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis. - Assist executives in developing investment theses and recommendations based on analysis and due diligence- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and investment committees - Build relationships with industry contacts, including qualified executives, investment bankers, and other PE firms- Maintain databases and track industry trends and market data.

Financial Analyst Co-op supporting IBM Consulting’s World-wide finance teamThe co-op program is a full-time role for six months. You will be immersed in the operations of your assigned area, exposed to many aspects of the business and many of the basic functions of the company. Over your six months at IBM, you will gain a unique and in-depth understanding of the business and what makes it work. Full-time co-op in IBM's Global Business Services - Performance Insights team.-Execute monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identify key drivers, and report results directly to executives -Participate in monthly close meetings with team and attend engagement events with co-ops- Build metrics to update control book and trend book by week, month, and quarter - Complete analytical reports using IBM databases and tools -Assist with consolidating and forecasting budget and actual data - interpret complex financial data to ensure success of global business services -Use cutting edge EPM software to create automated visualizations with drill down capabilities for revenue and signings - Tied together all worldwide TSS pricing data into one data lake that can be queried in EPM, then presented final result to 20+ executives (co-op project)
