When I was 15 years old, I worked at Valleyfair as a Park Services associate. I would sweep around the entirety of the park, remove and replace trash from the garbage cans around the park, clean and restock restrooms, and do other particular tasks revolving around the cleanliness and safety of the park, our guests, and our associates. I did this for two years before moving to an admissions position at Valleyfair. Here I completed transactions for tickets, season passes, and other add-ons provided within each unique interaction, assisted in and resolved guest issues at the park, on the phone, and on the internet, and received and scanned tickets and season passes while confirming validity and conduct, and other particular tasks revolving around the cleanliness of the front gate, ticket and season pass sales and issues, or any project that may need assistance. I was promoted to a team lead where I had the same responsibilities, but I also led a team of associates in both guest engagement and park policy. I also worked at the Paint Shop at my University for a year where it was my duty to move furniture, prepare rooms, paint, do precise work on the frames and baseboard, and work without supervision on particular tasks.My last job was as a package handler at FedEx where I loaded and unload packages in a warehouse into a delivery vehicle. This job requires one to push, pull, scan, lift, and place packages that can weigh up to 150 pounds.
