Achilles provides athletes with disabilities with a community of support. Able-bodied volunteers and disabled runners come together to train in an environment of support and community. Within this community, runners gain measurable physical strength and build confidence through their sense of accomplishment, which often transfers to other parts of their life.General role is to accompany disabled runners during the course of a workout or race, on any given day an Achilles volunteer will function as a member’s eyes, ears, guide, and motivator.

Veteran's Integration Program (VIP) In collaboration with a local Colorado Foundation, AspenPointe’s Peer Navigator program specializes in providing services to transitioning Military members through an intensive focus on employment via training and education resources. The program is FREE to all those separating from any status or component of the military. - Managed a case load of 60 veterans who were incarcerate and/or transitioning incarcerated veterans who were “at risk” of homelessness, by providing referral and career counseling services, to include job training and placement assistance, job readiness and life skills support services, housing, healthcare, and other benefits. Incarcerated Veterans Transition Program (IVTP). - Instrumental in building a new program Veterans Integration Program (VIP) sponsored by the Adolph Coors Foundation. Developed systems, tracking procedures, and managed a budget of $300K. Over the past two years the VIP program has saved our community over $6M on Social Return on Investment (SROI).- Established over 50 business contacts in the community which support the hiring of veterans resulting in the program placing 280 (75% placement rate) veterans in employment, training, or education.- Led a construction skills program with Pikes Peak Community College, AspenPointe, and the Housing & Building Association providing veterans the general skills needed to be successful in the construction field. Graduated 42 veterans in the first 12 months.

Operations Sergeant for a Brigade Special Troops Battalion in a heavy brigade combat team with five companies and over 800 Soldiers training and preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. - Managed a 45-person team with daily operations that provided logistical support for 800 person Battalion; oversight over schools, ammunitions procurement and orders processing- Responsible for the security and logistics of the Battalion Tactical Operations Center (TOC); accountable for over $6M of equipment- Oversaw successful completion of over 3000 combat patrols, 50 Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions, and more than five battalion level operations within Kandahar City- Created a detailed tracking and process system for over 500 work/service orders that improved the bulleting and office areas for a camp of 1800 personnel- Developed and lead battalion support operations during four separate operations exceeding performance over five other battalions within the brigade
