I am a specialist in the psychiatric care of children and adolescents across the 0-18 age range.I currently lead a service providing mental health care (diagnosis, support, medication and psychological management) to children with ADHD, ASD, LD and other neuro-developmental disorders. I have wide-ranging experience in the management of mental health problems in epilepsy and other neurological disorders and in the management of OCD, Tourette’s Syndrome and its co-morbidities. I maintain an active interest in this area and participate in a monthly neuro-psychiatric clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital where I have an honorary consultant post.I have long standing experience in the management of affective disorders, including both unipolar depression and bipolar affective disorders and anxiety and neurotic disorders including OCD and PTSD. I am confident in the management of adolescents who harm themselves, undertake other risk-taking behaviours and / or are thought to have emerging personality disorder. .
