As Staff Recruitment Coordinator, I recognized potential candidates for staffing positions and helped directors deliberate on who would be the best fit for our staffing teams. I was tasked with reaching out to candidates and coordinating phone and in-person interviews with each applicant. I also assisted in the hired staffers transition into the organization. As a staff member, I created and taught leadership workshops for middle and high school age students. These workshops encompassed skills such as identifying leadership styles, using diversity effectively in group settings, improving communication, project planning and management, and more. I worked with fellow staff members to make the activities fun and engaging and have practical applications for when the delegates left the program. This is a summer program and I also staffed Outreach programs throughout the year.
