In 2017 Merck decided to sell the Consumer Health (CH) business unit representing a 900 million € business, ca. 3500 employees and 2 major production sites in Austria and India. In April 2018 it was announced that Procter & Gamble will take other the business and the carve out was executed on Dec 1st, 2018 (day one).During this phase I had the end2end responsibility for the carve out of all global and local TechOps applications supporting manufacturing, supply chain and quality processes which included the following responsibilities and activities:• Data collection and preparation for the M&A data room• Developing carve out scenarios per application, perform time and cost planning, alignment with business stakeholders• Negotiate and agree carve out approaches with Procter & Gamble• Execution of the carve out and providing hyper care support after day 1In 2020 Merck decided to sell the Allergopharma business. During the carve-out, I was responsible to ensure business continuity during the phase of transitional service agreements and to execute the carve-out of the Merck applications.
