I've always been a people person - someone who loves to listen and connect. In secondary school, I found my calling in Communications and compelled me to Join Multimedia University of Kenya where i pursued Diploma in Journalism and Bachelor of Applied Communication, Corporate Communication.My first taste of professional life was at KBC- Kenya Broadcasting Corporation ( 2019), a renowned media house from ages. As an intern, I supported the radio broadcasting team in the Creative Department. I was involved in writing scripts and research, production of commercials and promotion, voicing of adverts, script writing, duty announcing and played a role in a Tinga Bao Video Advertisement. Also participated in camera work, video editing and editing audio content.One accomplishment I'm particularly proud of is managing Social Media sites at Jaw Bone Housing Cooperative Limited( my degree attachment place), a company that deals with selling of plots in Rongai, Nairobi Kenya. The sites, being actively managed, drew some clients who joined after seeing the post about the cooperative online. Being part of this initiative taught me the power of communication in mobilizing action and never underestimating the power of Social media. Social media diversely reaches many. It is a vital tool in this digital generation.Outside work, I enjoy ministering (singing) in Church. It's a hobby that has taught me patience and persistence - skills that I believe are crucial in any Communications role.
