I am a triple board-certified neurologist and clinical informaticist with a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing health informatics and digital health systems in complex academic settings, including synchronous teleneurology/remote patient monitoring, analytics, decision support, and ancillary integration/interface processes. I have a strong background in clinical data warehousing, database querying, and machine learning model development.I am extremely passionate about the potential of digital health and AI/ML to improve neurological care. I recently founded Sinai's first Clinical Neuro-informatics program, a lab-of-labs innovation hub that focuses on developing + studying innovative AI/ML tools and EHR solutions in cerebrovascular disease, neurocritical care, and other neurological conditionsI am also an accomplished neuro-informatics researcher who has made numerous peer-reviewed contributions to the literature in this area.
