Since1990, worked in different roles in the Upstream Petroleum Industry, with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) including seismic data acquisition and interpretation, prospect generation, Well-site geological duties, Log interpretation/formation evaluation and well correlation, Oil &Gas policy review and formulation, promotion of the Hydrocarbon Potential of Ghana and negotiation of Petroleum Agreements. Member of the Team that formulated Ghana's Revenue Management Bill.Currently the Director of Petroleum both Upstream and Downstream at the Ministry of Energy and previously the General Manager for Geoscience at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.Member of SEG, GhIG, EAGE. Holds a Bsc in Geological Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, PGDip in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Trondhiem, Norway and Msc in Hydrocarbon Exploration (exploHub) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Also holds a degree in Law (LLB) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).Holds a certificate in International Petroleum Management from the Institute for Petroleum Development Inc, Austin, Texas and a Certificate in Seismology and Earthquake Engineering from China.
