I bring to the table more than a decade of expertise in sustainability, environmental management, and conservation. My academic journey led me to earn a Master's degree in Applied Science from James Cook University, Australia, where I was honored with the 2008 Endeavour Malaysia Award, recognizing my commitment to academic excellence and leadership potential.My fervent passion is centered on catalyzing positive change for our planet and its inhabitants. In pursuit of this mission, I have taken on a pivotal role in leading the development and promotion of sustainable palm oil in Malaysia, a country recognized as one of the world's largest producers and consumers of this vital commodity. In my capacity, I oversee the management and execution of technical conservation projects, dedicated to preserving biodiversity, curbing greenhouse gas emissions, and elevating social and environmental standards within the palm oil industry. My commitment extends beyond the field, encompassing high-level policy advocacy and engagement with corporate and governmental stakeholders. Simultaneously, I champion awareness-raising activities among the public to boost the demand and supply of sustainable palm oil. Over the course of my career, I have proudly delivered tangible results through on-ground sustainability projects, collaborating effectively with both producer companies and smallholders. My ultimate objective is to steer the palm oil sector towards responsible and sustainable practices, benefiting both nature and society as a whole."
