I focus my practice on general and healthcare commercial real estate with an emphasis on development, investment, leasing, and finance. I represent developers and landlords through all stages of multi-use and industrial development, including the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, and performing title and survey due diligence. I have represented commercial landlords and tenants in lease negotiations of all types, and counsel clients on the maintenance of long term landlord-tenant relationships.I also focus my practice on advising national healthcare organizations to grow and manage their real estate portfolios. I understand how healthcare laws and regulations affect real estate transactions, and assist my clients with the development of risk mitigation practices to ensure optimal business outcomes. I have substantial experience drafting and negotiating leases, subleases, and amendments, in addition to ancillary documents such as assignments, estoppels, and subordination, non-disturbance, and attornment agreements (SNDAs) with an eye toward the unique challenges associated with healthcare law. I also assist in the acquisition and disposition of leasehold interests and other real estate assets as part of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and consolidations.
