I was born in Schwarzach St. Veit, Austria but grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I completed the 5 year certificate and diploma examination as a tourism clerk at the higher education institute for tourism in Klessheim. After my compulsory military service, that I completed in the Schwarzenberg Kaserne, I had to go back to South Africa, due to family reasons but in 2018 decided to move back to the beautiful city of Salzburg. I have spent the last 10-14 years gathering as much experience as possible in the restaurant / catering / hotel industry by taking on various tasks and always being willing and open to learn. For the last 2 years I have worked as a branch manager at ProStaff (event and catering staff leasing provider). My main tasks included recruiting / team building and maintenance, weekly staff management of the Salzburg team, job interviews, editing and updating the database, actively involved in nearly all events, customer care and was the buffer between customers and employees. Unfortunately after I built up a strong team, ProStaff had to close down as the result of the current epidemic and I've been unemployed since November 2020. Since then I decided to further educate myself and started a Blockchain developement course. I am a reliable, tech savvy food and beverage specialist with a lot of experience in staff management, customer and partner communication, item purchasing/analyzing and leading teams. I don't have a classic commercial training, but because I started working with 16 and mostly worked in management positions over the years, I was able to gain a lot of 'real life' experience. With my experience and my passion for food, beverages, nutrition and my new found passion for the blockchain technology I hope to be able to open up personal and professional development opportunities.
