As a Team Leader at City Year, I am responsible for leading a team of ten AmeriCorps volunteers working with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at P.S. 154X in the South Bronx. I primarily:-Develop and maintain systems that help to organize our literacy, numeracy and social-emotional learning initiatives with students in class and during our afterschool.

Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

• Developed database system in Microsoft Excel that managed clients records in anticipation of complex regulatory lawsuits.
• Collected data on consumer complaints from the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, including data acquired via Freedom of Information Act request.
• Conducted client acquisition interviews for foreclosure and bankruptcy cases.

Tel Aviv Area, Israel

• Drafted grant applications to European and International Philanthropic Organizations, incl. the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture.
• Collaborated with social workers, our fundraising director, and our executive director to better articulate the organization’s accomplishments and mission
• Supported organization staff during casework with refugees from Eritrea, Sudan and the surrounding region.
