I am currently an investment analyst in Polaris Capital, a single family office in Singapore. The family office manages a global multi asset portfolio, including public and private equity, fixed income, PE funds and hedge funds. As an investment analyst, I evaluate all investment opportunities across asset classes and prepare investment recommendations. In addition, I conduct industry and company research for public equities to generate high conviction ideas. Lastly, I am involved in the portfolio management and portfolio construction.In my previous role, I was an investment analyst in Target Asset Management, a long only equity fund focusing on value investments in Asia-ex Japan. I was involved in conducting in-depth research analysis into companies and industries in the public equities space. My sector coverage includes the real estate, consumer, infrastructure, utilities and clean energy sectors.I graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a double first class honours degree in Business (Banking & Finance) and Accountancy. My interest lies in value investing and I have experience in investments, M&A and audit roles. Apart from work, I enjoy doing long distance sports like cross country, triathlons and aquathlons. I still try to compete competitively and enjoy the process of training and racing. I also enjoy learning to invest in the financial markets and improving my financial modelling skills.
