As an employee for Ford Motor Credit for more than 10 years, I have worked in a variety of roles representing, auditing and negotiating the company's interests with automotive dealerships, third-party vendors and consumers.After graduating with a business degree from Michigan State University, I started at Ford in the collections department in 2001 before moving on to a wholesale auditor position, where I oversaw fleet inventory for dealerships across the Midwest. I then moved through several positions where I oversaw financial accounting for large commercial lease accounts, managed auditor scheduling for wholesale floor plan accounts nationwide and then oversaw U.S. vendors who evaluate vehicles at the end of their retail lease.Today, I am employed as a remarketing analyst, where I serve as a liaison between Ford Motor Credit and Ford Motor Co. In essence, I help to ensure that the vehicles returned at the end of their lease, which are owned by Ford Credit, are sold through Ford Motor auctions in a manner acceptable to all parties involved, primarily automotive dealers. This often involves evaluating the value of our inventory and approving arbitrations.
