I grew up in Los Angeles, CA but have had the privilege to travel and experience much of the world. Through these experiences I gained a passion for making a positive impact in the world both socially and environmentally. I received my B.S. in Chemistry in 2012 from the University of California, Irvine and Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry in 2017 from the University of California, Los Angeles. During my time in academia I researched synthetic methods for nano-materials with much of my efforts focused on nano-structuring cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. My research efforts lead me to discover new ways of synthesizing nano-materials which developed into several patents and pathed the way for the technology of NanoDian, Inc.
