As President, I service as the Chief Executive Officer of the Council. My focus this year is continue ACEC/VA's culture of learning with the theme of “Grow Your Business”. ACEC/VA provides a forum to test your ideas in an atmosphere where firm leaders are passionate about business and personal growth. I am provided the opportunity to work with best staff ever with our Executive Director – Nancy Israel and Communication Specialist – Cassie White. We have a great program in store for our member firms this year. This year is another year to get your firm leaders to the Emerging Leadership Institute (ELI).ELI is a program that is tailored to educate your next generation of leaders and is offered every other year. Please check out the ACEC/VA website to get more information on this comprehensive training program. ELI also provides an opportunity to join peers from other firms in this learning environment to fellowship and develop relationships with leaders and future leaders in their respective firms, ACEC/VA and our community. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an organization that not only wants your firm to succeed, but for you to succeed personally.This year is also a time for growth.
