I am one of the many, many creative minds at the Exploratorium! I work with a team of creatives, writers, scientists, and other engineers to design and build new exhibits for our museum. I spend a lot of my time assisting in the technical design and production of exhibits or assemblies, many of which featuring complex mechanisms, plumbing, or electrical connects. This requires me to be well-versed in many technologies such as 3D CAD modeling, standard engineering drawings, and the software required to accurately and safely produce the parts and assemblies that I design. Additionally, I like to keep up to date with commercially-available products so that I can design with the newest and most efficient technologies in mind.Since all of the exhibits we produce are visitor-facing, we place emphasis on the durability and safety of all our experiences.
