On June 26, 2002, I enlisted in the U.S. Army in response to the 9/11 attacks that occurred in my home state. Over the course of my 21-plus years of service, I participated in four combat tours across Afghanistan and Iraq. Beginning on August 8, 2010, holding the rank of Staff Sergeant, I embarked on my journey to transition into an Army Officer.Completing this transition, on May 10, 2012, I graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Campbell University, earning an Applied Science Degree, and was subsequently commissioned as an Aviation Officer. After finishing flight school, I achieved qualification on the UH-60A/L Blackhawk helicopter. In my personal life, I am married to my wonderful wife Mariana, and together we are blessed with three beautiful children.As a Retiree Aviation Officer (MAJ) with over 21 years of service in the US Army, I have demonstrated exemplary leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills in various operational and managerial roles. I have led, planned, coordinated, and executed complex and high-stakes missions and projects across multiple domains, ensuring optimal readiness, performance, and safety of personnel and equipment.
