I am currently in my senior year at Indiana University majoring in Informatics with a focus in security through the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. I am also completing minors in financial literacy as well as policy studies. I am fascinated by the exponential development of new technology and its implications for the modern world and am eager to make my contribution in ensuring that the exchange and storage of digital information remains secure through the effective implementation of security practices and policy.My diverse experiences have developed a comprehensive skill set encompassing problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, leadership, communication, event planning, presentation, and project management. As a Security Operations Center Intern at CNA Insurance, I bolstered my problem-solving abilities by reducing vulnerabilities through an organization-wide browser extension allow list and optimizing the ServiceNow request process. I identified and mitigated malware on company machines, enhanced my investigative skills, and delivered effective presentations to the information security department and organization executives. In my role as an Undergraduate Instructor, I improved my communication and critical thinking skills while assisting with class material presentations and providing valuable student consultation. As a UROC Research Assistant, I deepened my critical thinking through data privacy research. My leadership capabilities grew during my tenure as Director of Technology for Indiana University Student Government and Vice President of External Relations a fraternity. In these roles, I engaged in collaboration, event planning, and project management, ensuring the success of various initiatives. Overall, my experiences have equipped me with a well-rounded skill set ready for future endeavors.I would describe my personality as a dynamic mix of ambition, adaptability, and curiosity. Ambition is a driving force in my life, propelling me to set high goals and work diligently to achieve them. I thrive on challenges and am constantly seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.
