Medical Special Interest: Preventative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency MedicineDr. March graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut with majors in Animal Science and Pathobiology. While at the University of Connecticut, Dr. March also obtained a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology and pursued research in microbiology with a focus on food safety and aquaculture pathogens. After his undergraduate work, Dr. March pursued his veterinary degree at Cornell University. While at Cornell, Dr. March was the recipient of the Frank Bloom Pathology Award, the Veterinary Cancer Society Award for Proficiency in Clinical Oncology, the Westminster Kennel Foundation Scholarship, and the Tracy French Clinical Pathology Award. After veterinary school, Dr. March did a rotating internship for BluePearl Veterinary Partners, a large specialty and emergency hospital located in New York City, then worked at Pieper Veterinary, a hybrid primary care and specialty/emergency referral center in Middletown, CT. At Pieper, Dr. March functions as a primary care clinician and does relief work as an attending clinician in the Emergency and Internal Medicine departments. Dr. March was originally born in Danbury and currently lives in Middletown with his spouse, Golden Retriever, and two cats. Deeply committed to the human-animal bond, Dr. March looks forward to treating your pets as he would his own.
