Benjamin graduated with distinction from IESN (Henallux) with a degree in cybersecurity in 2022. During his Bachelor's program, he acquired fundamental knowledge in networking, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), and programming (C and Python). He further specialized in security-focused areas such as Firewall systems (Palo Alto and Open Source solutions), cryptography, Active Directory (GPO, user/group permissions), and file permissions (Windows and Linux). During his internship, Benjamin implemented the ELK suite in a Docker container within a high availability network containing Zabbix software, conducting market research to identify optimal open-source solutions meeting specific criteria. Upon graduation, Benjamin joined Sopra Steria Belgium in the SOC department, where he works with LogRhythm, Azure, and CrowdStrike. He holds certifications as a LogRhythm Administrator and in Azure (SC-200 / AZ-500). His responsibilities include managing triggered alerts/incidents, generating detection reports, and proposing improvements to reduce "False Positives." Additionally, he serves as a member of the 24/7 incident response team, Service Guard.
