My tasks included adding new functionalities to the platform and improve maintainability, but also participating in the Agile processes the team had in place (estimation, user stories, scrum, etc.). I worked on both front-end (creating interfaces defined by the Product team, with Javascript and jQuery) and back-end tasks (unit testing of logical module, database management, creating and updating web services, working with Windows services, ...). The dev department used TFS as source code and project management.

The goal of this internship was the improvement and the creation of new functionalities for the web portal of the company (made with C# / .NET). Parts of my responsibility were to refactor and to update the source code to use newer technologies. I also had the opportunity to work on the interface to make it more user-friendly. I worked with Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) and the usual web tools (HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/jQuery). The project was managed with Git and Atlassian products (Bitbucket and Jira).
