Fostering technology innovation as UT’s first tech club that teaches students product, design, engineering through classes, community projects, corporate events- Coaching cohort of 45 fellows through new curriculum of product topics including design, strategy, experimentation, UX, industry deep dives- Mentoring 9 product fellows 1:1 via product discussions, mock interviews, HQ visits, and guidance on community projects- Lead recruiting for club through info sessions, social media marketing, and interviews to select 3 fellows from 75+ applicants

Establishing Austin as a technology hub of excellence with the largest collegiate product, design, and engineering conference in the world- Co-founded community of 700+ students from 215 universities in 30 countries to imagine the future of product, design, and engineering- Mentoring team to secure speakers; speaker alumni include CPO @ Slack, VP of Design @ Facebook, Director of Research @ Airbnb- Collaborating on drip marketing, leveraging network effects, and reaching domain-specific communities with Marketing Director - Advising UC Berkeley’s product club as they launch Berkeley Product Conference, inspired by Austin Product Conference

- Collaborated with three engineers and one UI/UX designer to develop a communication forum which improved transparency between UT’s 40,000 undergraduates and student government representatives- Building a pipeline of projects from nonprofits and companies in the greater Austin area

Built high-volume querying for Briefcase, an offline record workspace with 350K requests/month & 10K MAU, to support workers with low connectivity; defined adoption strategy for new Briefcase product- Defined product adoption strategy for Briefcase API with Directors of Product to grow customer base by 20% and beat EOY goal by 40%+- Profiled 20 customer interactions for discovery calls, created 3 customer segments based on dev practices, authored onboarding documentation - Launched guardrail algorithm for non-performant database queries to save 50 customers up to 140,000 hours of downtime annually- Configured 60 tests to validate guardrail algorithm, developed cron job to compare query execution vs. algorithm predictions for all customers- Designed caching flow for non-optimal queries, warning screens, and guardrail integration for Async Priming API to deliver 1M+ records per query

eCommerce subsidiary of Texas’ largest grocer with 2.5M app user base; pioneered product ranking algorithms that are used in new in-app search engine, rather than previous manual rankings- Established strategies to increase annual eCommerce revenue by up to $20M via 11 A/B tests on Search, Homepage, Banners, and Collections- Developed product ranking algorithms for 8 search terms that beat the existing manual rankings on revenue, margin, and bounce rate up to 9%- Prototyped tooling so merchandisers can launch tests in 3 days and analyze results in 60 seconds, 75% faster than the standard process- Designed tests in Figma, led engineers through execution, analyzed in Databricks/Google Analytics, and broadcasted insights to domain teams

Donation-as-a-Service startup that charities used to broadcast item/monetary needs; served homeless shelters, low-income education programs, recovery centers- Created a platform that allows charitable organizations to broadcast their immediate item and monetary needs- Architected platform using AWS, Stripe, PostgreSQL, PHP-Laravel, React Native, and Bootstrap- Visited 30+ charities to understand the inefficiencies of the donation process, synthesized these pain points in mockups, and hired/led the engineering team to build the MVP- Sought out feedback from all the clients to build new features such as Offline Donations and Updates- Grew the startup to process thousands of dollars in donations for 10 charities globally, expanded to India and enabled a YC/Snapchat-backed startup to donate to Indian charities
