Regional Director/Coordinator (Senior Educator)National Public Safety Institute-Midwest Region-Kansas Number One, Easy Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156Responsible for the effective and efficient administration, management, coordination and service delivery oversight of NPSI’s Regional Training Center and DPS Programs. NPSI programs encompass the fields of Law Enforcement, Fire Protection & Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Search & Rescue, Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness-Response to Terrorism. Assigned Alaska Public Safety Provider Responsibilities in 2010-2011: Appointed as Interim Chief Administrative Officer (Fire/EMS Chief) and Educator for Kenai Penn. Borough, Alaska. Upon return, performed additional public safety related duties throughout the US per Municipal-Corporate contract. Conducted agency and corporate consultation, education and training in similar fields specifically related to the above disciplines, to include security services. All NPSI course offerings are nationally/regionally accredited (recognized, approved and certified) through appropriate Federal, State/or local Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Service regulatory agencies. All NPSI courses are accredited through regional universities/colleges; the National Fire Academy and/or the Emergency Management Institute-Maryland.

Taught as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Alaska-Criminal Justice, Fire Science and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Training Programs throughout Alaska. Responsible for conducting regular public safety courses, and providing on-going education and training to personnel working within local, state and federal government (public safety) service agencies/organizations. In addition, provided training to corporate/company personnel who worked in similar fields related to security, fire protection/control and emergency medical services. Assisted in course development and in getting these courses accredited through the University of Alaska; regionally accredited community colleges and institutions of higher learning. Performed additional Adjunct Faculty duties as assigned. Finally, taught basic (community level) training courses on an as-needed basis.
